Welcome to the Regentville P&C!
Our P&C is all about working together with our school executive and teachers to support a positive environment for our children, and to enhance and extend their experiences at school - in the class, on the field or stage, there are many opportunities to support the recreation and wellbeing of our students.
The P&C aims to do this by:
- regular meetings where all parents and citizens are welcome.
- creating a collaborative environment of respectful open discussion.
- connecting with the school community on current topics and events with a quarterly survey.
- working with the school educators, parents and citizens to create positive outcomes for our students and ours schools culture, environment and community.
- providing students with a canteen service, and where profits are reinvested into the school
- providing facilities and equipment for the school that promotes student welfare, learning, and recreational opportunities.
- raising funds from the school community with structured fundraising activities.
All parents are welcome to attend the monthly meetings or get involved in any of the various P&C activities throughout the year.
How to get involved?
Volunteer
Kids love seeing Mum & Dad involved in the school! The P&C run several daytime events (Canteen, Easter raffles, Mother's and Father's Day Stalls, Regentville Rocks and more), as well as evening events (Disco's and Welcoming BBQ) where you can also volunteer 1-2 hours of your time. All help is welcome and appreciated.
How? The P&C quarterly survey on the skool bag app will give you a chance to select what events you want to volunteer in, and to leave your contact details. Or, email the P&C.
Event participation and purchases
Return your sold Easter egg raffle tickets, donate an Easter Egg, buy food and beverages at the Regentville Rocks and Art Show events, and give your children the opportunity to purchase you a Mother's Day or Father's Day gift at the school stalls.
The funds raised are returned to your child and the school community with P&C purchases.
Attend the P&C meetings when you can
With more input from parents, we receive more ideas that can benefit the school and our children.
You don't have to attend every meeting or be involved in everything. You can give as little or as much time as you like – it's up to you.
